FortisWills Affiliate Course (FAC) is the signature 2-day IBF-accredited course of Fortis Adult Learning Academy LLP. This course is supported by estate and advance care planning industry leader FortisWills Pte Ltd and private client law firm Fortis Law Corporation.
The FAC course will equip participants with a broad overview of the estate and advance care planning landscape in Singapore, how foreigners with assets in Singapore can also have their estate and advance care plans done, relevant legislations governing estate and advance care plan, toolkits and legal documents such as the Last Will and Testament, Advance Care Planning Workbook, Lasting Power of Attorney, Advance Medical Directive, real-life case studies, and practical conversation starters on estate and advance care planning related topics.
On day 2 of the course, participants will also get a broad understanding of what a Trust is, the various types of trusts in Singapore, including insurance, living and standby, and testamentary trusts, and how trust can be an important and integral tool in estate and advance care planning.
Upon the successful completion of FAC and the assessment, participants will be invited to join the FortisWills Affiliate Program. As an Affiliate, the benefits include free training on related estate and advance care planning topics, regular talks and seminars, priority in securing speakers from partner law firms for your events, fee-sharing arrangement, access to the proprietary app WillPass developed by FortisWills Pte Ltd and many more.
This course is opened to all registered and licensed Financial Advisors and Consultants, bankers, investment professionals, family office professionals, lawyers, accountants, and real estate salespersons.
Course fee per participant is S$600, which covers course materials and assessment fees. Participants who complete and pass the assessment will be invited to join as an Affiliate. The annual fee for being an Affiliate is S$88 per annum. This Affiliate fee may be waived in the following year upon attainment of prescribed production level. FAC is IBF-accredited and eligible participants may apply for the relevant subsidies.

Patrick Tan TEP is the Founder and CEO of Fortis Law Corporation. He was also shortlisted as one of the five finalists in the 2021/2022 STEP Private Client Awards – People’s Choice – Trusted Advisor of the Year.
Keon is the Founder of Riverside Trustees Limited, which is a licensed trust company in Singapore. Keon has worked in fiduciary services and licensed trust companies as resident manager, director and trust advisor.
